DIPLOMA COURSE THAI YOGA MASSAGE MASTER

Recognized by TYMANZ (Thai Yoga Massage Association of New Zealand)


I. Practitioner Training 160 hours

Four weekends (also available as a 10 day block or a 5 day private intensive) and one ten day block (also available as a 5 day private intensive)

Diploma 1
Program: Weekend 1: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Introduction, feet, energy lines on the legs, single leg exercises.
Program: Weekend 2: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Double leg exercises, stomach/chest/arms/hands, side position.
Program: Weekend 3: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Back, sitting position.
Program: Weekend 4: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Face, massage structuring, evaluation.

Diploma 2
10 day workshop: Meditation (different forms of mindfulness and concentration techniques):
15 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 15 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 58 hours: Solidifying the techniques taught on the weekends, expanding the techniques to a wider range of body types, focus on correct posture and precise energy line work.

Certificate for completing Diploma 1 and Diploma 2: Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner

Remarks: The four weekend classes (Diploma 1) can be booked separately as "Beginners class".  Diploma 1 is also taught as a ten day block course or as a 5 day private intensive (limited to 2 students).

The 10 day workshop (Diploma 2) can be booked separately by students who have completed a beginners class with Asokananda or one of his authorized teachers. Students from other Thai massage schools might be admitted at the discretion of the Sunshine Network Institute.

II. Advanced Practitioner Training 160 hours

Four weekends (also available as a 10 day block or a 5 day private intensive) and one ten day block (also available as a 5 day private intensive)

Program: Weekend 1: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Advanced techniques: feet, energy lines on the legs, single leg exercises. Therapeutic applications.
Program: Weekend 2: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Advanced techniques: double leg exercises, stomach/chest/arms/hands, side position. Therapeutic applications.
Program: Weekend 3: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Advanced techniques: back, sitting position. Therapeutic applications.
Program: Weekend 4: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 12 hours: Advanced techniques: face, massage structuring, evaluation. Therapeutic applications.

Diploma 4
10 day workshop: Meditation (different forms of mindfulness and concentration techniques): 15 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 15 hours
Thai Yoga Massage: 58 hours: Learn the detailed running of the Thai massage energy lines, therapeutic applications, Thai point pressure system and Thai Yoga Massage therapies.

Certificate for completing Diploma 1, 2, 3 and 4: Advanced Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner

Remarks: The course is open also to students who have completed a beginners class with Asokananda or one of his authorized teachers.
The four weekend classes and the 10 day workshop can be booked separately as "Advanced classes" by students who have completed a beginners class with Asokananda or one of his authorized teachers.

III. Master Practitioner Training 160 hours

Four weekends (also available as a 10 day block or a 5 day private intensive) and one ten day block (also available as a 5 day private intensive)

Diploma 5
Program: Weekend 1: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Yoga Massage and Pranic Healing: 12 hours: Pranic massage with Ayurvedic oils, workout with hands and feet (Chavutti Thirummal). Lying on the stomach position. Thai Yoga Massage therapy.
Program: Weekend 2: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Yoga Massage and Pranic Healing: 12 hours: Pranic massage with Ayurvedic oils, workout with hands and feet (Chavutti Thirummal). Lying on the back position. Thai Yoga Massage therapy.
Program: Weekend 3: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Yoga Massage and Pranic Healing: 12 hours: Pranic massage with Ayurvedic oils, workout with hands and feet (Chavutti Thirummal). Sitting position. Thai Yoga Massage therapy.
Program: Weekend 4: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours
Yoga Massage and Pranic Healing: 12 hours: Pranic massage with Ayurvedic oils, workout with hands and feet (Chavutti Thirummal). Full body massage. Thai Yoga Massage therapy.

Diploma 6
10 day workshop: Meditation (different forms of mindfulness and concentration techniques): 15 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 15 hours
Yoga Massage and Pranic Healing: 58 hours: Solidifying the techniques taught on the weekends, expanding the techniques to a wider range of body types, focus on correct posture and precise energy line work. Ayurveda and Yoga Massage.

Certificate for completing Diploma 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6: Yoga Massage Master Practitioner

Remarks: The course is also open to new students, who want to study Chavutti Thirummal and Ayurvedic oil work only. A certificate of attendance stating the hours of training is issued.
The four weekend classes can be booked separately. The 10 day workshop can be booked separately by students who have completed a Chavutti Thirummal class with Asokananda or one of his authorized teachers.

Program: Weekend 3: Meditation: 3 hours

Yoga Massage and Pranic Healing: 12 hours: Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga Massage, Pranic Healing and other energy work traditions. Learn how to integrate practices from the different traditions.
Program: Weekend 4: Meditation: 3 hours
Yoga/Pranayama: 3 hours

Diploma 8

Remarks: The course is also open to students, who have completed a beginners class in Thai Yoga Massage with Asokananda or one of his authorized teachers.
The four weekend classes and the 10 day workshop can be booked separately.

Additional requirements: 50 documented whole body Thai Yoga massages practiced while studying the Diploma Course.
